The objective of our study is to plan for an renewable energy projects in which Bio-mass will be key fuel

I Like to know is there any agency/ Consultancy to conduct an survey of the Biomass availability in an area.

hi

our organisation undertakes vegetation survey, diversity and subsequent biomass stand

recently accomplished -- Chanderiya Smelting complex, (Vedanta groups)

Now Submitting projects -- Kayer mines, Ajmer, (Hindustan Zinc)

Undertaking work in

Agucha mines, Rajasthan

Our expertise have experienced in

Survey and biomass estimation of plants and compensation...

which are affected by projects viz.

Bangalore Metro Rail; High speed rail connecting Airport to Bangalore City; Kadur - Chickmagalur Railway line; Varahi Hydel (Dam) project, Udupi; etc etc...

Our two expertise in Ecology and Biodiversity are approved by NABET

Note: Biomass is estimated by 1) direct method 2) indirect estimation

and 3) Regression analysis

It is expressed in Volume (cubic meter) or mass (tonnes)

But undertaking biomass production and growth assignment, it takes longer period

Geospatial technology can play a significant role in identifying areas such as scrub land, waste lands etc which can be a potential and perpetual source of biomass.
