- to sutain environment ,to stop degradation of env.improvement in sewage treatment,to study the irrigation by sewage,to study the established standard whether it is fit in indian condition or not.the base for this standard.we wre importing from u.k. only further research is needed for fixing this standards.bod 20 ss 30 for dischrging where dilution is not possible.then not permit to dischrge.river is polluting but certain stretch is dried though we are saying its a river.then pollution occured .sewage is not stabilised.further anerobic condiion developed.suficient do should be maintained.disinfection is not the remedy. with in no time further development made.
