After completing my master from the K. J. Somaiya college I joined CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Goa as Project Assistant and started working on the Maharashtra gene bank project to study marine macroalgal role, importance and their adverse effect on the coral diversity of Malvan Marine Sanctuary (MMS), Malvan, Maharashtra.
