About me: Vagish Sharma has professional experience in business strategies formulation, policy research, advisory/consulting and implementation of projects related to Energy , Environment , Sustainability and Climate Change.

He has worked on consulting assignments of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), U. S. Department of Energy (DOE), World Bank, DFID, SNV, SAIL, IOCL and various other reputed Indian and multinational business organizations. He has extensive experience in PoA development, ERPA negotiations and carbon neutral technology cooperation and has successfully promoted a number of international collaborations in supply chain, energy efficiency, energy finance and renewable energy.

Based on his entrepreneurial approach and goals, he has been selected as “Young Global Energy Leader” by Waterloo Global Science Initiative (WGSI) to represent INDIA at Equinox Energy Summit, held at Canada & “Youth Ambassador” for the year 2010 to represent INDIA at International Youth Leadership Summit, held at Czech Republic. Besides, he was selected as “Young Entrepreneur” by Government of India, for his innovative concept and marketing idea towards “ICT and Renewable Energy” and was nominated as “Young Economist” for the year 2009 to share his findings on Food security through energy management for poverty eradication & employment generation in developing countries.

Vagish has participated in panel discussions organized by several national and international agencies and has publications in prestigious journals. He has been appreciated by NASA, World Bank, United Nations (UN), and UNESCO for his entrepreneurial approach towards Environmental Sustainability.
