Profile Information

About me: I did Civil Engineering Post Graduation with my Specialization in Environmental Engineering in June 2007 from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. During the course of my study in my Masters, I undertook DISSERTATION: “Beneficial Use of Research-Based Consortium of Microbial Cultures for the Biological Treatment of Domestic Wastewater” at 66 MLD Gajrawadi Sewage Treatment Plant of Gujarat, India.

In India, I worked for 10 months in the United Phosphorus Ltd. , Baroda as a Project Engineer in the Solid Waste Management Department. There, my scope of work included looking after the execution of project, giving technical specifications for the landfill construction as per Pollution Control Standards of India and catalogues of approved manufacturers/suppliers, Design of Sanitary/Secured Landfills and Designing of Biomethanation Plant for Municipal Solid Wastes. In Kuwait, I first worked for Kuwait Bruckner Co. for 1 year as Project Engineer where my scope of work included analyzing and preparing Pile Testing Reports, Method Statements and reviewing contract conditions. Later on, I joined ELM Trading Co., as Design and Project Engineer. Here, I worked for 2 years and my scope of work included; Designing of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Writing O&M Manuals, Laboratory analysis of various wastewater samples and pilot studies, preparing layouts of the WWTPs in AutoCAD, compilation of tender, etc. Presently, I work in National Cleaning Co. as Environmental Engineer and as R&D Team Leader. My scope of work includes Designing of Wastewater Treatment Plants, preparing layouts of the WWTPs in AutoCAD, implementing innovative ideas with regard to Soil Treatment and Wastewater Treatment.

My Green Mission: 1. To treat wastewater to such an extent that it can be used for Irrigation as water is a costly resource!
2. To treat contaminated soil in such a way that it gets free of pollution and at the same time it gets converted to natural product - (fertilizer/construction products)!
3. I strongly believe in Biological Treatment :)!
