About me

I completed my Masters in Community Resource Management and Extension from Delhi University and currently pursuing my Ph.D. on effective Communication strategy for Climate Literacy. As Project Associate with The Vigyan Vijay Foundation, I have coordinated projects on environment literacy, Rainwater Harvesting through audio/visual aids.
I also worked with UNICEF and Delhi University on a various research projects. I am currently working as a Coordinator (Communication for Development) with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, New Delhi on generating demand and awareness on WATSAN initiatives being implemented in Hz. Nizamuddin Basti. I have organized interactive and participatory forum theater performances, real life dramas, street theaters during my tenure with AKTC.

Professional working experience of about 5 years and 2 years voluntary work in the design, planning and management of strategic communication programmes on environmental sissues. Training in current developments in the fields of media, communication for development theory and research, behavioral and social sciences, climate change communication, community based adaptation, participatory planning and processes; as also strategic communication planning, behavior analysis, formative research and evaluation of communication interventions. Experience and knowledge of programme communication design and implementation for behavior and social change, social mobilization and advocacy. Experience in inter-disciplinary approach in strategic communication and community based intervention.
