About me

I have done Ph.D.(Sc.) from Jadavpur University in the field of marine eco-toxicology, PG. Diploma in Ecology and Environment Management, New Delhi and Diploma in Participatory Forestry Management from IIT, KGP.

I have worked as Environmental Specialist for several infrastructural projects of Central and State Govts. since 1993 - (i) DPR on Rejuvination of Rabindra Sarovar lake under NLCP, Govt of India, (ii) Socio-environment Expert for JICA, W.B. Forestry Project, Preliminary DPR, (iii) Environmental Consultant for Railway Pollution Control projects like preparation of design and construction of ETP, Incinerator, Compostor, etc. (iv) EIA consultant for Food Park, harbours, construction projects of West Bengal govt., (v) Environmental Safeguard Specialist for Highway projects, (vi) Environmental Expert for DPR on Stadium, Bus Terminus, IT Park and Hub, etc.

I have also prepared DPR's on (i) Sundarban Wildlife Park, Jharkhali, W.B., (ii) Mini zoo at Burdwan, Kharagpur, (iii) Eco and Deer Park, Newtown -Rajerhat, West Bengal.

I have been also associated as Visiting Professor at University of Kalyani, Viswa Bharati University on Environment, Forestry Management and Facility Planning.
