About me

I have an MSc degree in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics, LSE, 2001-2003 and over 15 years of work experience in the field of Environment.

I am currently employed with the Finnish Trade Agency, Finpro, in New Delhi. I have worked for organizations like GE Capital, TERI, WSP Energy and Environment, and Through experience in these organizations, I worked closely in the area of leadership, innovation, new initiatives, and investments in sustainable development climate-related activities.

A major part of my profile during the last 15 years included tracking and regularly reporting on climate related business developments and opportunities of potential relevance. Also, I was closely linked with financial reporting and investment products linked to climate change such as carbon disclosure requirements, green bonds, and carbon linked securities. Preparation and presentation of important environment-related issues was always a part of my work profile.
I'm also an Associate Member of the IEMA or the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (2008), in the UK.
