- About me
- I am Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at Aligarh University (AMU), Aligarh, a Central Government institution and one of the premier educational centres in India. I did my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), 2011, MTech (Environmental Engineering), 1995 and B.Tech (Civil Engg) from AMU in the year 1993. My areas of specialisation are wastewater treatment, solid waste management, environmental impact assessment and lakes conservation. I am actively involved in the Namami Gange Program for appraisal of DPRs, Lake conservation projects, and holding a good number of international collaborative research projects. I have contributed more than 18 articles in refereed international journals, national and international conferences.
