About me

Keyur is an architect and a sustainability expert based in the UK with 10 years of international experience in delivering sustainable buildings, high end residential projects and low carbon solutions. Keyur brings with him a combination of excellent design skills, project management abilities and in-depth knowledge of sustainability.

Currently, Keyur is an Associate at Loughborough University at the Department of Civil and Building Engineering, Loughborogh University. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, coordinating with team members and external stakeholders, and directly reporting to the project head. Keyur is also pursuing a parallel PhD in the area of energy efficiency, sustainability and thermal comfort in buildings and has been invited by architectural practices in London to carry out energy efficiency and sustainability appraisals.

Prior to this role, Keyur worked as a Project Architect at Hamiltons Architects (now BFLS Architects) on high end residential projects worth £110 million in central London. At Hamiltons, Keyur was instrumental in setting up an in-house sustainability group. Keyur has also worked on BREEAM ‘excellent’ rated office building in the UK and master planning schemes of 100 plus dwellings in Leeds.

Keyur also has five years of experience designing and delivering educational, healthcare and residential buildings in India. Keyur holds a Master of Science in Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the CEPT University, India. Keyur is a qualified domestic energy assessor and a registered architect with the Council of Architecture, India.
