About me

# Studied initially in Mussoorie.After intermediate, I did Bachelor of Engg in Chemical from University of Roorkee, now IIT RKE, in 1972.
# Joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC ) of Department of Atomic Energy ( DAE ) after graduation and worked for 39 years in Design, R&D, commissioning, operation and safety of waste management systems.
#In parallel, obtained Post Graduate diplomas in Business Administration and Computer Management from KC College of Management Studies and University of Mumbai respectively .
# As Head , Waste Management Division BARC for 9 years, looked after activities of waste management facilities of three DAE sites at Trombay, Tarapur and Kalpakkam.
# I obtained post graduate diplomas in Computer Management from Mumbai University and in Business Administration from KC College of Management Studies Mumbai .
# At international level, represented the country in Waste Safety Standard Committee of International Atomic Energy Agency ( IAEA ) for six years. I was involved in preparation and review of a large number of documents including codes and guides of IAEA on Radioactive waste management ( RWM) etc.
# I am also involved in activities of Atomic Energy Regulatory Board ( AERB ) in domains of preparation of National Codes and Safety Regulation documents pertaining to RWM and related subjects.
# I am serving as Member of National Executive Committee of Indian Nuclear Society for last four years.
