Area of Expertize/ interest: •Conduct all preparatory surveys and studies and gather information for the environmental assessment reports for the identified subprojects.
•Assess the environmental categorization of the proposed project as a whole and all subprojects.
•Conduct an environment assessment including the attendant public consultations, and in incorporating identified mitigation measures into the project documents.
•Prepare environmental assessment documents such as initial environmental examinations and environmental impact assessments as appropriate, according to the requirements and standards of ADB, the Government of India for the environmental assessment of the proposed project and subprojects.
•Assist the UDD in preparing applications for environmental clearance from the State Pollution Control Board for the subprojects.
•Worked in the fields of Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Compliance, Statutory Approvals, Environmental Impact Assessment studies for Developmental Projects besides R & D work related to Environmental Material Science and Waste Management
•Familiar with various analytical instrumentation techniques viz. Spectrophotometer (UV-VIS, FAAS, ICPAES, Fluorescence), Potentiometery, Gravimetric, Gas Chromatography etc.
•Good working knowledge of environmental modeling using softwares for air and noise environment
•Conduct training for UDD and the PMU personnel in ADB policies for environmental safeguards and in environmental management measures to be carried out to mitigate negative impacts during implementation of ADB loan project.

PhD with 11 years of experience in Environmental Studies.
Involved in preparation of EIA, EMP and clearance for diverse infrastructure projects of Inland Passenger Transport, Airport, Sewage Disposal Project, Irrigation, land resource Management, water and waste water quality etc.
Expertise in EIA, Lake Ecosystem, Eco-remediation, Terrestrial Ecology, Water Quality. Expert in Data analysis on Statistical Package (SPSS) and has Domain Knowledge of GIS and SAP-EHS.
