About me

Dr. Bhakta is Associate Professor in the International Centre for Ecological Engineering (ICEE), University of Kalyani, India. He successfully worked on the project entitled “Development of probiotic bacteria to protect fish from heavy metal contamination” as Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for two years. He worked on Environmental Engineering and Microbiology as Researcher Faculty in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Research Institute of Molecular Genetics, Kochi University, Japan. He carried out research on aquatic microbiology and aquaculture and received Ph. D. from Department of Zoology, University of Kalyani, India and worked as Research Associate in the same Department.

My Green Mission

My green mission is the conservation of our toral environment, especially conservation of precious water resources for our future generation. I carried out the research work in the following research areas for sustainable develop:
