About me

Deepak has more than 15 years of experience working towards creating and sustaining a class of environment leaders, professionals and ecopreneurs/enviropreneurs capable of “making our planet a green place and hence a dream place to live.” He has Working experience in the field of Environment and Development, Environmental Education (EE), Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Audit, Environmental Program/Project Planning and Environmental Management System/Plan (EMS/P).
Deepak has worked closely with all the key stakeholders - Govt., Industries, Institutions, Communities, Common Interest Groups, Donors and NGOs in areas including but not limited to Environmental Management Services, Sustainable Development, Urbanization, Climate Change and Conservation.
Deepak is a pioneer in field of collaboration in environmental issue management and was responsible for starting the first social network for Environment Professionals. He also promoted Sustainability, as a key parameter in Corporate Strategies of various organizations and is responsible for making "Green" part of Corporate Missions.
He guides corporate teams in conducting Environment & Life Cycle assessment studies and embed Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in projects. He has been advising industries/organizations in harnessing the CDM opportunity and is involved in creating awareness and facilitating the industry regarding the opportunities available through CDM process by implementing measures for reduction of Green House Gases towards achieving better Environment and Sustainable Development.
