In my knowledge, Indian Government is currently Recycling Domestic Wastewater by installed Sewage Treatment Plants. The use of recycled water is only irrigation, till now.

Recycled water can be reused for toilet flushing, gardening, horticulture, agriculture, building construction, car washing, golf course / race course irrigation, top up for water cooling system in power plants, ground water recharging, etc.
