Internally Climate Change Services has been defined one of the key areas and is becoming of more and more relevance for the whole organization.
As Climate Change Project manager and after receiving support through a thorough and extensive training program which you will work as lead validators / verifier or technical reviewer within your area of expertise as well as supporting other initiatives and services developed in the carbon field within DNV
You will be reporting to the business unit manager in Bangalore.
Qualified candidates will have the following attributes:
• Bachelor Degree (master degree is preferred)
• At minimum (required) of 3 years hands-on experience in either of these specialities within RENEWABLES (HYDRO, WIND OR BIOMASS POWER Generation), OR Thermal power generation:
o Engineering, construction, operation, maintenance
o Environmental management (emission related)
o Energy audits
o DM project development
o Mitigation technology
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• High level reasoning, analytical and evaluation skills
• Strong organizational skills and project management skills, with ability to meet strict deadlines and to set and adjust priorities
• Fluency in English, working knowledge of other languages would be valuable
• Preferable (however not required) candidates with auditing and project management experience.
• Knowledge of. GHG policies, programs, protocols and standards, is a plus
