We cordially invite you to TERI's conference on 'Capacity building and experience sharing for enhancing sustainability in urban India' on June 3, 2015 at Juniper Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The conference is being organised with support from the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN).

The conference will deliberate on relevant issues related to current scenario for skill building and capacity development in urban local bodies. It aims to explore the processes and approaches developed and implemented so far and deliberate upon the successes and challenges and need for building stronger knowledge and capacity building networks.

The conference marks the completion of TERI’s capacity building program on ‘Urban Climate Change Resilience in India’ supported by APN. The program was conducted in four states in India (Uttarakhand, Goa, Odisha and Maharashtra) targeting the elected representatives and municipal officials from various urban local bodies. The key messages from this experience has also been synthesized and documented in a briefing paper which will be released during the conference.
