Fresh oil barrels-are they hazardous ?
As per Hazardous Waste(Management, Handling and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2008 discarded containers of hazardous wastes are hazardous. By that logic, empty used oil storage barrels are hazardous. Whether empty fresh oil barrels are hazardous or not , can anybody throw some light ?

I think it won't because rule only speaks about the barrels/ containers used for handling haz waste ie.used, waste oil & chemicals.
