Environmental Clearance

Can anyone tell me is it possible to change building design after getting environmental clearance even though the capacity of treatment plants be kept same?

Dear Ramar ji

It is possible to change building design post environmental clearance subject to

1. Design has been approved by the competent authority such as the Local Development Authority

2. A communication to the effect be immediately sent to the SEIAA and copy to SEAC and Pollution Control Board clearly stating the reasons of design change and the said be incorporated in the EC and NOC

Sir, design change can be done but you will have to apply for fresh EC again with amendment...

It is possible but please mention clearly that which building design will be change??
Ec is granted on production quantity and treatment capacity.
So there is no metter to get new ec. Only you have to inform related regulation authority.

Thankyou Sir. The change of building design in the sense the shape of the building may change, but the built up area, location and capacity of STP, etc will be kept same as the one prior to EC. So, will it need a new EC?
