if the flow is low go for breakpoint chlorination

if the flow is high go for biological treatment such as MBBR, biofilter.

As a hydrogeologist, I will follow these steps:

1. Plot the sample location points on a map;

2. Plot contours for the ammonia concentration;

3. Ascertain the source of ammonia  through literature survey;

4. Correlate the conditions in the study area;

5. Reach the contaminant source.

And then check the viable options for source attenuation.

If I can be of any help, please write or call me on 09826515859.

After drawing the water ,pl aerate the water free ammonia will  leave.Aeration may be carried out by simple means by creating falls

GANESAN

Ammonia is easily remove from water to give the oxygen .

Regard/prasad

Generally in Activated sludge process - biological waste water treatment plant ammonia converted to nitrate with help of micro organism for energy source micro organism using Dissolved oxygen.After that this treated water going to post anoxic tank there nitrate converted to nitrite and finally nitrogen gas going to atmosphere.This method i had regulary done in my waste water treatment plant .For ground water we can simply give oxygen for controlling ammonia.
